When the high school’s gossip girl exposes a secret society called The Sisterhood of Night, the quiet town of Kingston is thrown into the public eye and blogosphere. What follows is a chronicle of three girls’ unique and provocative alternative to the complexities of the digital abyss.


Based on Pulitzer Prize-winning Steven Millhauser’s short story of the same name, Sisterhood is a modern version of the Salem Witch Trials set in the digital abyss of a New York high school. Screenwriter Marilyn Fu received the Creative Promise Award for Best Screenplay at the Tribeca Film Festival. Sisterhood premiered Oct 2014 at the Woodstock Film Festival where it was the Centerpiece Film and awarded the Best Female Director "Juice Award" from Tangerine Entertainment.
