In 2007, Waechter and Fu were chosen to participate in Tribeca All Access where the project received the Creative Promise Award for Best Screenplay.
It is produced by Lydia Dean Pilcher of Cine Mosaic (HBO’s “You Don’t Know Jack,” The Darjeeling Limited, The Namesake) and Evenstar Films (Meek’s Cutoff, Jesus’ Son). Oscar-nominated Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland) and Chloë Moretz (Hugo, Kick-Ass, 500 Days of Summer) are attached. It is slated to begin production in Spring 2012.
